CELPIP Test

CELPIP, Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program test is conducted  to examine an English language proficiency. This test is basically for the aspirants, who are willing to get permanent residency in Canada. Celpip test is categorized in two different categories, as:
CELPIP- GENERAL TEST
CELPIP- GENERAL LS TEST
CELPIP- General test is held to access the language proficiency related to Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking skills. It is widely accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada as a proof of proficiency in English language to acquire permanent residency in Canada. Besides this there are various organizations that certify CEPIP – General Test such as Real Estate Council of British Columbia (RECBC) and Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). The
CELPIP-General LS Test examines functional Listening and Speaking proficiency.
CELPIP-General TEST: It is divided into four sections:
  1. Speaking (15–20 minutes)
  2. Writing (53–60 minutes)
  3. Reading (55–60 minutes)
  4. Listening (47–55 minutes).
The maximum time duration for the CELPIP-General Test is 3 hours.
CELPIP-General LS Test: It consists of two components:
Listening (47–55 minutes)
Speaking (15–20 minutes).
The maximum time duration for the CELPIP-General LS Test is 1 hour and 10 minutes. Both CELPIP-General and CELPIP-General LS Test are acknowledged for citizenship in Canada but CELPIP-General is superlative to get Permanent Resident in Canada. The result of the CELPIP test is declared  online within eight working days .
CELPIP Test Format
CELPIP General Test has four components- Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. It requires 3 hours to attempt the complete test without any  break.
